Jeremy and I went to IKEA to get a new shelf for me on Friday and he built it for me (thank you again!) and look at it. Here is the top two shelves and they hold most of my favorites/classics. So pretty!

Had some serious dental work done and literally all I could eat was yogurt and soup for days. But at least the yogurt was delicious every time I added strawberries. :)

I went to the Francis Bacon and Henry Moore Exhibit at the AGO again with the boy and his parents. There wasn't photography allowed in the actual exhibit, so this was the only photo I could get from one of the iPad screens on there. It was a great exhibit, I've been twice now and I think it is definitely worth checking out!

Had a study session at the lovely Aroma Cafe and I got a delicious Marshmallow White Hot Chocolate. Noms. I am pretty happy with myself in terms of how much work I accomplished that day, hooray!

Yesterday was The Night Before Our Stars event, which was seeing The Fault in Our Stars before it released today and the show included a livestream with a Q&A with John Green and the cast and some musical performances. I went with my best friends Nikki, Michelle and Alysia :) We went pretty early to line up and it was kind of crazy, but overall, we got pretty good seats and we got a beautiful bracelet and a signed poster as gifts so that was pretty awesome. Overall, I LOVED the movie so much and I am thinking about writing a full review for it, comparing it to the book in terms of a book to movie adaptation. (I really want to see it a second time however, so it may have not be up soon). But overall, yesterday was pretty awesome. I had a lovely time, I got to see a movie version of a book I love so much, and most of all, I got to spend it all with my lovely friends. :)

Go see it this weekend if you haven't already, but please bring tissues! You will need them!

I saw Yann Tiersen and NO in concert on Wednesday at The Opera House in Toronto. I went with my best friend Nikki. It was a pretty small venue but it was nice, and overall the concert was really enjoyable. It was beautiful to see all the different instruments and the ambiance of all the songs was just so lovely. I really enjoyed seeing Yann Tiersen live! He even played three Amelie songs which was amazing to hear live!

Today was a good mail day. I got a package from Book Outlet which I recently placed an order for. I saw books that have been on my wish list for some time now at bargain price, so I thought why not! I am so excited to read all of these since I have heard really good things about them all. And to top it all off, I got a coupon for my next order.. so there could be another order from them quite soon ;)

Yesterday was the boy and mine's four years and a half anniversary so pretty big milestone. When we first started dating I used to blast the La Roux soundtrack in the car almost everyday on the way to school.. until the point that we got pretty sick of it, haha! Anyways, La Roux is making her comeback, and she has been around essentially as long as the boy and I have been dating, so I thought it was fitting to get tickets to her show. It was an awesome concert and she played every song from before (my favorites especially) and she debuted some new songs which sounded amazing. I had a lovely evening in the Danforth area with the boy and overall, it was a pretty awesome anniversary.

I had a lovely day with the boy and my aunt and we went to go see Maleficent. I really enjoyed it, I thought it was visually stunning and such a cool twist on the original story. I highly recommend it!

Yesterday was COHF release day!! Oh my goodness. I cannot believe the end is here already. I started it last night but I am really taking my time with it, because to be honest, I am quite sad it is the end of the series. I am really enjoying it so far and it is so nice to be ~reunited~ with the new york shadowhunters that I love and adore! :D

Ooops. I bought more books. I recently read books by both of these authors and loved them, so I decided to go out and pick up two older titles by the authors to read. I can't wait to start reading them! :D
