The worst has already happened.

Mona has learned that she has nothing figured out and plans are meaningless. After leaving her in Aspen, Abram is now breaking sales-records, rising to rock star fame almost overnight. Mona can’t seem to escape him. He is literally everywhere, or at least images of him are.

Just when she thinks things can't get any more confusing, Abram returns . . . What happens next?

Only TIME will tell.

Review:

This book picks up not too long after the previous book when Mona and Abram declare their love for one another, but unfortunately, both their careers make it impossible for them to really have time together. Mona is left unsure if they are exclusive or when they will see each other next, and after a short period of time, Abram is back again. I really loved seeing them make plans with one another, and find time for one another. The constant thing that both characters remind themselves throughout the book is that they both have time. There isn't a need to rush things, but it's clear how much they thrive being in each other's presence, and how there's a disconnect when they are apart. I also love how they both surprised each other at every turn in terms of how they dealt with things. Abram was rising with his musical career, and despite being worried about how the fans would take to Mona, Mona already resided herself to that early on, which was a nice surprise for him. I just loved how much it showed that they were willing to work hard to make this relationship work. I also liked how some family issues were resolved this book too. And... when they finally get to get together, just damn. Like I said in my previous reviews, Abram is incredibly sweet with Mona, and I just loved seeing how he went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable at all times. I really enjoyed this trilogy following along on Mona and Abram's journey. I also liked that Penny focused on what happens after the declaration of love, and how it felt really authentic and realistic. There are things that are bound to make it difficult, but this book shows that a good relationship takes time and work. I loved both Abram and Mona, and I'm def sad to see them go with the end of this series, but I look forward to another series like this by Penny Reid because I love how she writes angst, sexy scenes, and handles bigger issues like family and friendship. All in all, a really enjoyable end to the series and a fun series overall.

My rating of the book: ✮✮✮✮ - 4/5 stars
