Review:

This is my first book from both Carly and Erika, and I was totally intrigued by the premise of no-strings attached romance which of course, leads to much more later. I really enjoyed the set up of it all. It seemed quite fast since they met in an airport during a snowstorm, but I just loved how their connection was immediate. Connor was attentive and a great listener while Katie explained her troubles with her ex-boyfriend. It was a horrible way for her to spend her Valentine's Day.. going to surprise her boyfriend, only to learn he was cheating on her. Connor made her reevaluate her worth, and just made her feel like she was worth it. He doesn't normally do one night stands, and he was determined to play by her rules that night, only to make sure they had a chance at a relationship the next morning, but she disappears. Three years later, they meet again, and Katie has a child: Val (what a cute name for their meeting). Katie and Connor have to get to know one another again, and I loved how organic the process felt. There was obviously some worries about custody, and also how Val would handle it all, but I loved how they both worked at it. Their story is incredibly sweet and swoonworthy. Connor definitely proved countless times that he was Rock Solid. A lot of stories focus on the getting to the relationship part and I think what I enjoyed most about this book was it focused on the work that it takes to make a relationship last. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it for readers looking for a cute HEA that involves parenthood.
