A Book With a Color in The Title | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi all, another reading challenge completed! It was one that I didn't even realize qualified for one of the challenges and I honestly picked it up because of all the hype surrounding it and boy did it live up to the hype!

A Funny Book | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi All! So it really feels as if I haven't posted a Reading Challenge update in forever. I've been falling behind, but hey! I'm catching up on them now. I also decided now would be a good time since my attempt at bout of books last week was an epic fail. I found myself in a bit of a reading slump so I just kind of gave up halfway through the read-a-thon. But now, I'm feeling better and getting back into the swing of things. Anyways, to start off with these posts again, I read a funny book recently which I did not anticipate to be super funny, but in the end I really enjoyed it!

A Funny Book goes to:
Galgorithm by Aaron Karo

So for today's challenge that I recently completed - it is a book with a one-word title. This one was difficult to choose because I've read a few books with one-word titles that I've loved recently. I will include my other choices at the bottom of the post so you can check them out as well! ;)

A Book with a One-Word Title goes to:
Hausfrau by Jill Alexander Essbaum

My other choices would've been Mosquitoland by David Arnold (Full review here) and Remember by Eileen Cook (Full review here).

A Book From An Author You Love That You Haven't Read Yet | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi everyone! I keep forgetting to update you all on this one, so you can expect a few posts for this challenge in the next week or so. For today's is a book from an author you love that you haven't read yet. This is one that I haven't read yet, simply because it was only released about two weeks ago! I love this author so much and if you haven't already guessed who it is, it is Kazuo Ishiguro, who I had the pleasure of meeting recently! (You can read the event recap here!)

A Book with Non-Human Characters | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi everyone! I finished another challenge on the list and today it is a book with non-human characters. There are human characters in the book, but I selected this one because it features "cyborgs" and also those that come from the planet Luna, the "lunars". Any guesses yet what book it is? ;)

A Book with Non-Human Characters goes to:
Fairest by Marissa Meyer

A Book with Bad Reviews | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi everyone! Today's challenge that I recently finished is A Book with Bad Reviews. I particularly am not fond that this a challenge to begin with, because it will either lead to more bad reviews or well, hopefully good ones! In this case, it was a book that was "ok" in my opinion. I did not love it and of course it had problems, but it was entertaining while reading. The series itself has gotten bad reviews because it originated as fanfiction about One Direction, but the numbers don't lie. There is quite a big following and a fan base for the series and I can see why a lot of people are attached to it. It did surprise me however as the series went on, but I think I might save that for another blog post.

A Book with Bad Reviews goes to:
After We Collided by Anna Todd
(Review: COMING SOON!)

A Book Written by Someone Under 30 | 2015 Reading Challenge

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all doing well. I have been reading quite a bit lately, so I thought I'd check some challenges off my list. For today's challenge, it is a book written by someone under 30. I was recently given the chance to read the first book in the Wattpad Sensation, After series by Anna Todd. From what I know, Todd is a 25 year old writer from Texas and her After series began on Wattpad and is now published into three books, the fourth one due next month. I will have a full review up soon for the book (debating whether or not to review the other ones after, since reviewing books in a series can be quite spoilery) but I think it is truly what Todd has been able to accomplish under 30. The book series already has been optioned for film and that is quite something!

A Book Written by Someone Under 30 goes to:
After by Anna Todd

A Book Set in High School | 2015 Reading Challenge

I was able to finish another book this week for #boutofbooks that helps with my 2015 reading challenge and that is a book set in High School. This book is primarily about high school and senior year and what happens when high school comes to an end and what is to come in college. I initially wasn't going to include this one in my challenges, but it turns out it fits nicely, so I thought why not?

A Book Set in High School goes to:
Love & Other Theories by Alexis Bass

A Mystery or Thriller | 2015 Reading Challenge

This week is #boutofbooks, and it just so happens that one of the books I finished also finishes a challenge on my #2015readingchallenge. I finished it yesterday and I definitely would classify it as both a mystery and a thriller. I finished it late last night and I really enjoyed it, so a full review is to follow!

A Mystery or Thriller goes to:
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

I started this one right before new years eve, but I was feeling poorly so I didn't finish, but I finished last night and wow. it just was ~amazing~ - I will have a full in-depth review for this book which will be up tomorrow, so be on the look out for it. But I definitely just loved it and shed many tears reading it.

A Book You Can Finish in A Day | 2015 Reading Challenge

I finished one of the challenges today and it was actually the first book I finished of the year! It was A Book You Can Finish in A Day. I technically finished it in about an hour and my friend Alysia lent it to me. I have heard nothing but good things about it and it definitely did not disappoint. I am incredibly happy to check my first challenge off the long list!

2015 Reading Challenge

Hi all! :D I hope you guys are having a lovely day. I have a super exciting post for you all! Last night, my best friend Nikki posted on twitter a 2015 Reading Challenge post and I decided to take part in it this year. It is a list from Popsugar and I think that it is definitely do-able. I will have update posts for every time I complete a challenge from the list and give my thoughts on reading the book - but a separate review for the book may/may not follow.

I also want to say now that if by any chance there is a crossover with reading for a read-a-thon or read-a-long, the book will still count ;P I know to some that may seem as "cheating" but I am really trying to pace myself this year and not overdo it and pick books that I will genuinely enjoy as opposed to picking books to beat challenges, even though I am kind of contradicting myself posting about a challenge now, lol! I've had a look through the list and I think I have an idea for most of the books, but some will require some homework, like finding a book by the author of the same initials as me.

Anyways, onto the list :D Let me know if you have any ideas for some of the challenges, like what trilogy should I read in the comments below! I can't wait to get started and start this year off right! :D
