Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :D I can't believe it is already the end of the month.. time really flies. I went to so many book signings this month so that is incredibly exciting. I keep forgetting to post about them though, so my apologies for that. I will start tonight off with the signing I went to on thanksgiving weekend for Ransom Riggs!
Ransom was so incredibly sweet and charming. It was great listening to him talk about his overall process of writing and what inspired Miss Peregrine. He spoke at great length about how in the beginning, it was a relationship with the pictures that he built his story around, but now writing book three of the series, he has gotten a lot more comfortable with his writing. That is wonderful to hear and you can really see and hear in his words, how far along he has come as a writer. Some audience questions asked about the film adaptation that Tim Burton is doing, and it was so exciting to hear about some of the casting news! Lastly, someone asked him how Tahereh and him met and she was there with him and she came on stage to tell us the story. They are both so incredibly cute!
Overall, it was a great way to spend thanksgiving this year. I got my books signed, even the graphic novel. I was actually the first person to get my books signed so that was awesome as well ;)
